In Balkan region, including Turkey, Rufford Small Grant Foundation has supported more than 85 nature conservation projects from applicable countries. In year 2016 Banja Luka will host six countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, FYR Macedonia, Albania and Turkey) with 35 researchers to the Rufford Small Grants Foundation Conference, significantly named “Nature knows no boundaries”. Idea of RSG conferences is to share the results of the projects, discus all issues and new ideas, ups and downs during the realizations, opportunity to implement the RSG project and to advise new RSGF winners. Main idea is to connect researchers form Balkan region to create functioning network for successful implementation of many activities in order to preserve unique Balkan nature.
